Welcome...
The Bell County Historical Society's museum is open
to the public. Admission is free and the hours are
Monday, Wednesday,  Friday, and Saturday from: 10
a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Bell County Historical Society Museum is a part
of history! From the early 1900's until the 1950's,
many aspects of life in the county are being
preserved and maintained here in our Museum.
YOUR Museum! Even our building is historical. The
former Carnegie Library built around 1910 by Andrew
Carnegie with help from the city and residents of
Middlesboro.  It houses a fine collection of the way
things used to be, for the education and enjoyment of
all.

Dedicated to preserving, collecting and interpreting
county history, the B
CHS maintains a small resource
library and museum on North 20th Street,
Middlesboro, Kentucky.
